The main objective of this scheme is to ensure the care and upbringing of orphaned, destitute, or abandoned children whose parents are unable to care for them for some reason. Under this scheme, instead of sending children to orphanages, they are placed with relatives or acquaintances so that they can find a family environment and remain connected to mainstream society.
